Vacation to Cameron Highlands

Last monday, my family and I, together with my cousin's family went for a 3 days 2 nights trip to Cameron Highlands.
So it was 15th of dec to 17th of dec. Unfortunately, due to the trip, so sad that i'm unable to celebrate Choon Khai's 17th Birthday on 16th of dec. Don't be sad, i had "da pao" something nice for you, Cameron's Air! nice?

we took off from our home, serdang at early morning 9.00am. I was asked by my dad to sit on my cousin - Jin Yee's car so that can reduce his lovely Nissan Sunny's weight. I know it must be so hard to "climb" up the hills with the luggages and our weights, but why me? i'm that fat? However. i think it is cool too, cause i'm enjoying my uncle's Nissan Latio more than the Sunny does. Well of course it does, i'm comparing an Ancient car and a 2 years old car.

After a distance, before our 2 vehicles drive up to the hills, we went to a restaurant and have our lunch there at 12pm. After about an hour, we continue our journey and finally reach to this sign board.

our destination should be Tanah Rata but then we went to visit Strawberry Park at first which located before Brinchang. Strawberry is the most famous thing can be found in Cameron. No one will going to wonder "Ha? Cameron gt strobelli mie?" if so, i forgive him, he's an idiot. Sorry, off topic again. The air getting cooler and cooler as we go along the road up to the hill. We are using the new road instead of the old one to avoid vomitting and fainting.

After the visit to Strawberry Farm, we went to our rented apartment in Tanah Rata. At about 5pm, we reached there - Desa Anthutrium.and we stay at here

So sad its not the highest block, but the wind still blow the same - COLD
We didn't go anywhere on the first day after we settle all our luggages into the apartment. As our 2 drivers are exhausted and my dad lie on the bed sleeping 5 minutes after he entered the apartment.
I laid on one of the bed without knowing which will be my piggy place, and i slept right after that, of course, not as fast as my dad.
I hardly have my bath there as the hot water system spoiled. Sometime it hot, but sometime its another. Resulting the bathroom is no difference than my Fridge at home.
We had our dinner prepared by Jin Yee's mom and my mom. Its an advantage having 2 moms in home.
It's simple, some hotdogs, fishball, noodles and a pot of Soup added with 2 biji of Ajinomoto. Its nice, rather than just filling the stomach with the cold air there.

At night, we went to Pasar Malam, and what i saw there was so many people with strawberry umbrellas. So sad that it was drizzling at time, and it getting heavier so we rush home after our window shopping for half an hour.
I am unhappy because i missed the chance to buy myself some sweet potatoes.

So when we get bak to home, every1 slpt except us (the youngsters), instead of bedtime story, we have our card games and so lucky, there's an Astro system. Until 3 o'clock in the morning, then we went to our bed.

On the very next day, we all woke up at 9am and took off to cactus valley at 10am.

the big one at the middle made me thought of Kaabah from Makkah with many different kinds of Muslim praying around it. Cool?

as i thought, all cactus were Green and with Needles, but there are so many species that this can be a cactus too

This trip to Cameron is my second visit in this year, which i went earlier in the mid of the year. I remember i visited the Rose Valley too. The roses are so beautiful and charming, but the problem is, i can't find any black roses.
Sometimes i do suspect that the roses are given their colours by providing coloured solution to them. It must be so disappointed if so. I love naturality.

continue with the trip, we then went to the watercress plantation area for a visit and we bought some for dinner.

After sometimes, when we were waiting the person incharged there to pluck the fresh watercress for us, there's come a lorry full with the smell of shit. It really smells Stink and attracting the flies everywhere. When the lorry driver came down and carrying those stinky bags of thing, and that time i realised, those are fertilisers. I guess those are chickens/cows excreta. Gosh, they're reali smells STink!

After smelling the stinky air, we went to have our lunch in a nearby restaurant in Brinchang. I'm surprise i still have the apetite for lunch. The food which is available for sure, is the strawberry.

Everything that can be found, will be strawberry. is EVERYTHING.
when raining, the shops selling Strawberry Umbrellas surely have their customers, Strawberry Umbrellas can be seen everywher when its rain.
even in any place, cactus valley or rose valley, surely u must not missed out Strawberry. As u can see below

after our lunch, we moved on to the favourite spot of all - The BOH Tea Plantation.

This made me recall of the poster competition i took part with 3 other friends organized by The Star.
The theme was : Going Green - Making a Positive Impact
and we did 3 posters, and this what i have. The other 2 were drawn using 40 fingers.

But of course, we have no art gene, that's why we didn't earn any prize for this lousy drawing.
After visiting the BOH, we went to Gunung Brinchang. The road to there is so narrow that only fit the size of a car.
when there is an opposing car came from the front, we have to gostan until a spot which is wider its lane.

after about half hour plus of the scary ride, we reached our destination. Jin Yee's dad finally got himself relieved and said "finally i see a car" when the time we saw 3 cars parking at the spot. There are stairs that lead us to the Watch Tower. And then whats more? we climbed it.

going up the stairs are really a tough job. But i'm still ok in this, we all having kinda astma because of the high altitude and there are lack of oxygen at high places. Here we are when we stopped our foot down from going up anymore because we heard the tourists in front of us said that the floor was so moist and damp that made us hard to stablelise ourselves. Hey, it's not kidding to fell off from the highest point of Cameron Highlands which 6666 feet from sea level.

its seems nothing to be afraid of in this picture, but what's actually behind us is all the hills i can't imagine i fall off from there. The air is freaking cold and the 2 children (my little brother and my little cousin) are freezing, we all are. Two of them thought they are fat enough to tahan that cold air. Pity, they din wear any coat except a piece of T-shirt.

actually if we continue walking forward, and we will see this, the Watch Tower.

when we look down at the place where we took our photos, all we can see is merely hills and a thick mist. All covered with white mist and i think they are clouds. So we think its not necessary to go for the watch tower as what we will see is just the Clouds. My mom keep on saying that we are all on heaven, oh yea.

when the time we going down the hills, we saw some cars coming up to the watch tower, and my dad said "another fool", one car come and say again "another fool". Yaya, we are not the only one that are fooled, i know i know. Fooled to go so far with Gear 1 in the car and climb up the stairs for a distance, for just watching the white mists, and nothing more. The only advantage we have there is to enjoy the air.

As a result, my big bro told me that its not gunung Brinchang, its gunung Kambing. "kita telah dikambingkan" meaning we are cheated like a goat. Something translated to BM from cantonese.

We went to bee farm later then, but we didn't take any photos there. There are many Corns selling there and of course, plenty of BEEs. Soon after, we left and head to a place, i forgot what it called. Its nice and have to climb up too, but it is not as cold as the one before. Here are some pictures before we start the climbing.

yup, and this is when we reach the peak. We climbed so hard and i once again astma. But worst than before, i experieced chest pain. And i have to stop half way and rest. So sad i'm weaker than my mom. My chest pain problem haven't become that serious yet, just sort of slightly pain. I dun think it's an heart attack, dun scare me.

. up here was so cool and have a marvellous scenery. Its very very unfortunately i don't have my own camera, if so, i surely will take more pictures of the scenery. It is so nice up here to see all the hills with Tea Plants. The aroma of the tea, is fragrant, and peace.

After that, we were all exhausted and went bak to our apartment. When the time we got back, its already 5~6 pm in the evening. My mom and aunt cooks many dishes including the watercress that we bought. That was a nice dinner and i really enjoyed it. Now i realise i din take any picture of the dinner, sad. There are so many things i missed out in this trip.

That second night, we all slp at 12am as we were all so tired and prepare to leave on the next day.
yup, as we woke up, have our jagungs. And then we packed our things and prepare to leave. We leave the apartment at 10pm and head off to a Tea Shop in Brinchang. Beside the tea shop, it is a hill of tea plantation again, we went ther for a walk. And this what we saw.

this is what i saw before i climb up with my cousin's family. My parents and my big bro refuse to come with us as there don't have any stairs or holder. So, i went up together with my little brother.

from what my dad said, i really din see any birds in the Sky of cameron, its might be the cause of the fertilisers..
my dad keep saying that the air not clean although it was fresh air there, but no matter how it was, cameron, still is a nice place to visit, and a great spot for relaxing urself down.
after that, we all left Cameron Highlands and head to Ipoh and have our lunch, Chicken Rice with Tauge.
Later on, we went to Perak Tong (it's really called "Tong" but not Hole, dunno why)

Perak Tong is quite an Ancient cave and really impressed me with its Creation and Drawings on the wall.
This will be the end of my vacation- Cameron Highlands and Ipoh. Its been almost 4 years i didn't went out for vacation with my family. I enjoyed this trip and hopefully, my dear readers may understand my feelings on this.

Secondary School Life

It has been 21 days from now, SPM has over. Miss the secondary school life, since form 1, the time passed tat fast.

As the class monitor, apparently, i will do anything that teacher asked me to. However, i felt sorry for my bad service.
I felt tat bad when i first made the classmates quarrel with each other because of my mistakes.
Surely, there are fun times too, when our class are enrolled in the Patriotic Song-singing competition.
That is the very first time i sung alone in front of whole class to demonstrate the song - "Malaysia Berjaya".
Well, i'm so happy that every1 following me up. I earned that happiness when all of us worked together, the short while of the solo-singing and embarrassment considered nothing for me.

well, finish introducing. Sorry for cina cina or indian indian, i'm not that racist, just trying to show that our class got so many Gangs. that time SPM was around the corner. Every1 tension-ing and i asked them for pictures, how silly am i.
But managed to get most of them in pic but some went ponteng as they think K-ing book at home is more preferable than fooling around in the class.

When every1 nervous-ing bout SPM, i found 2 silly fishes in the Male washroom. Calm, not in the toilet bowl, but in the basin. But, the time when i knew it, the toilet are boomed wif students. I hardly slip myself in by holding my breath as hard as i can to make myself into biscuit shape. Here it is, i managed to ran out from the class and ask a fren to take tis photo for me.

surprise? it was a shark, another 1 stil in the basin. Oh, no worry, the little shark is when the first guy found it. I guess it was some art work from the boys in form 4. They might be worry that the excreta in the bowls are not good enough for decorating the toilet, adding this couple of sharks may increase the visitors, not just males, but the females.
5 years i'm in this school, but the first time so many gals went in the male toilet. Great right?

There's so much memories of the days in secondary school. I wil never ever wear that PRS clothing again. Good or bad? Good as i missed that feeling as a student, as i was in form 2. Bad as i paid RM100 over for that clothing and now i have to hang them in my dressing cupboard. Oh no, i know wat u all might be thinking, sorry i won't wear it for daily life, even as my pyjamas.

Nonetheless, my teachers. Form 5 is the most memorable time after all, compared to form 1 2 3 and 4.
I miss the days we taking exam together, we plying together, fooling the teachers, quarreling, fighting, war-ing, killing, raping, yelling, kissing, and ops, over-topic.

and yup, we went for BBQ and Genting, just as events to take our class pics for year-end magazine. How bad i had planned the Genting trip twice, and i absence for the 2nd time. That was terrible, as i planned the time at March 9 - one day after Election. My dad scare of 513 event happened again in the past. Well, and they went to genting, leaving me alone in the house like a fool, or i fooled them?

yup, that's what i will say to others. This induce a stronger feeling to burn my sejarah book now.
My dear friend, Yi Wei, hey its MR HO son! he and kok lun gift me something that others would think it Cheap, but for me, it is the most valuable gift i ever had.

and i'm known as "Zenold" because i have sort of Alzheimer and so, Zen Old. Sob.
yup, i understand. Its hard to buy present for guys, but a picture like this, really can cheer me up.

I remember the time we went for a Bengkel Skor A BM, we have a fun time enjoying the cool air and the atmosphere and a hard time sitting there for 9 hours. It supposed to be Bengket 10 Jam, but 1 hour we used for break, but the money still counts. As i remember, the cost of the workshop is about RM100. 10 Ringgit earned in 1 hour.
i will be so freak out if i don't do well in my BM. The workshop is in Universiti Malaya (UM).

besides this, i have been involved in PRS activities since form 2. The most memorable camp i went so far is the camp this year, in Taman Pertanian. In form 3, i have my first camp in Kuala Selangor, form 4 in Kem Al-Azhar Morib and the this year form 5, is the one i mentioned about. It is a 3 days 2 night camp. It is so interesting that i knew more about my juniors and i have fun getting along with them.

thankful to PRS SMKSK, i grown up in it. And that's the end of my secondary school life. Form 1 - Form 4 i din take any pics, as you noe, i'm a good student, cameras and phones are prohibited in school ! Go and refer the past year magazines if u guys and gals so wanting to see my naive look.
