Life in UCSI

Right after my three-month period of PLKN, i could still remember that moment clearly, how i said goodbye to Yan by chasing after his bus at the day the East Malaysia's campers left.  till now i couldnt forget him. :)

I went for car driving lesson after i came out from the camp, from attending undang 'lecture' until the day of the driving test it self.. i wouldn't want to talk much bout that because it was such awful experience with awful driving instructor. how lucky am i to pass all in 1st try. the happiest is not getting the license, is that i escape from that instructor's torture forever!!

Meanwhile i applied for A-levels course in this college called UCSI (University College Sedaya International) which formerly called Sedaya College, located in Cheras. At first I was shocked by the population of Middle-East students there, then slowly i adapted to the place, with mixture of Malaysians, students from China, Iran, Arab, Nigeria etc.

The very first day of my A-levels, i met this young lady at the lobby, who sitting there waiting for something. I know no one who doing the same course as me, and i don't know where to go for the first day. I sit there at the lobby too. After like 15 minutes of waiting, i plan to ask the receptionist upstair about my A-levels briefing's whereabouts. Then i saw the lady who still sitting there playing her phone. Who knows she might be a senior and i approached her to ask, "do you know where is the A-levels briefing today?" and at last, after 15 minutes of staring each other once awhile like that, she voice out, "erm.. i am looking for that too, r u in the same course with me?" then i realise, that's the first classmate i met :) hahaa..

introducing - ms. ee won :)

We managed to get into the class after awhile of directioning and searching, and the students are being brief half-way that time... quite paiseh to be late.. later on we made some friends though :D i saw a high school friend there - mong xin yao, and i couldn't forget the ipoh girl, kar hui... cos after saying "hi".. she straight away changed to cantonese asking "你识讲中文冇?" - "do you speak chinese"  that made me lols so much :)

Speaking about xin yao, he is good in sleeping! O.O hahaa..

mong's slping style during one of the class ^^

he always accompany up and down travelling from serdang to UCSI by train (KTM) everyday, and we did that for around half a year. Sometimes we are late to class because either we are late for train, or simply can't manage to squeeze into the train... Human traffic in the morning during working days at the train station was terribly crowded!!

Later on i decided to move in UCSI Hostel to stay. It really brings me a lot of advantage esp. waking up at 8am for 8am class in the classroom located at next block only :p and i could join alot of night time activities by various clubs and societies in there~

not to forget our first A-levels class trip was going for our biology field report trip to Yakult's factory and aeroponic farm~

So, that's about my A-levels..... but, wait! that's not all about my life in UCSI. We have UCSI prom night too! A bigger one including all students from all faculties.. that year i went for the Prom Night called "Masquerade Night"

that night i joined Ashley

and her group to have fun there :D

with the winner of UCSI Got Talent :)

About my co-curricular activities in UCSI, i joined a club called Peer Counseling, leaded by Ms May and Ms Shan Na.. They are both very kind person and our team are awesome ppl from different course and ages.. I met these seniors there who are fun talking to! various events we had joined like weekly counseling sessions, Mental Health Awareness Campaign, Cyber Safety Talk, Orientations, dance performances, and my favourite --- Restore, Recharge, Rebuild Camp! In short, we are just a group of youngsters who are energized and full of positive auras~!

Because of Peer Counseling, one thing always bring another new thing for me. I was introduced to student's council, and i get the opportunity to get know of more people from the bigger group. and i was given an opportunity to join the camp called Restore, Recharge, Rebuild Camp which is very self-refreshing and bring your mind free of the hectic life out there.

on the night of the event "Buddha my light, BuddY my side"

V-gen event (Vege-generation) by Tzu Chi Youth Collegiate (慈济青年)

Actually there are more events that i involved myself throughout the years in UCSI.. I remember the "Go Green" event organized by Hope Revive Club joint with Tzu Chi Youth Collegiate. It was a huge success and being reported in newspaper too.

This event was sponsored by Tupperware Brands Malaysia, Justlife, EcoHomemade, BioHabs, Green Sentral and Citywrite Stationaries, you can imagine how huge this event goes.. :) still a memorable event organized by Hope Revive Club.. The outstanding leader was our A-levels friend, Yin Leng..

Well, there are too many to mention if i recall bit by bit of my UCSI life... it's hard to sorting down every details or even what i did.. :) so after all, i had written what i think memorable ones..

Now everyone that i met in there are moving on with their life goals, and all of the seniors have graduated... left some of my same age A-levels mate that doing their degree in UCSI or somewhere around the world.. i wish all of us all the best.. don't know when we'll meet again, but somehow memories stay. Thank you all of you who made my life in UCSI so meaningful..

I remember during the A-levels Prom Night of my last semester in my course, my head of A-levels department, Ms Mabel Tan, gave us this speech :

"Most of you are only 19, 20, some 18, but over the course of one and a half year sticking with us, we've seen many of you with fantastic intensive quality, and i'm very proud of you. So when you leave the A-levels Academy, remember, never, never, never give up!"

Thanks to you~ UCSI - University that Connecting Students Incredibly
